BUDDY MERCURY
Buddy Mercury began singing and playing the piano on his own. Musician dad, Glen heard someone playing the instrument in the next room and suddenly, he heard Buddy Mercury singing his now famous AROO as he played the piano.
Adopted from a shelter, Buddy initially was a quiet pup before he started ‘singing’ to emergency vehicle sirens a couple of months later. Fast forward to a video of him and his human sister, Lil Sis, on their YouTube channel that racked up nearly 20 million views. His music brought joy to thousands and his social media platform lit up promoting other dogs needing rescue and donating funds from his online store to those in need. The media lapped him up and he appeared on programs such as ‘Good Morning America’, ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, ‘Inside Edition’, NBC, CBS and the Howling Talent Podcast to name a few. Buddy even has his own album, ‘Buddy Mercury Sings the Blues’, available on Apple Music, Amazon and Spotify with 10% donated to shelters that help animals!
Sadly Buddy became blind and passed away in 2024 at the age of 9 years but his legacy lives on with an annual calendar and his music continuing to support his philanthropic work.
